World-Class 18-Year-Olds

We adopted these words as our slogan when Ritsumeikan Keisho Junior and Senior High School opened, and since then, we have focused on developing talented individuals who can play an active role not only in Japan but also in the global arena.
So, what skills do Globally Competitive 18-Year Olds possess?
I consider them to be a combination of the following three elements.

First, they are people imbued with enterprising spirit.
This means our graduates are strong-willed individuals who persevere to overcome obstacles without fear of disagreements with others or failure.

Second, they are people who can respond to changes in society, and they can think deeply and take action on their own accord.
I believe our graduates are people who are sensitive to social change, have the insightfulness to recognize a variety of issues, and can design a roadmap and take the first step toward solving those issues.

Third, they are people equipped with global citizenship.
Our graduates recognize that they are members of global society. With a firm awareness of human rights and social norms, they respect the positions and opinions of others and strive to achieve harmonious solutions, thereby contributing to the realization of an inclusive society.

Ritsumeikan Keisho offers an environment and many classes that will help you become a person equipped with all three of these elements, not to mention academic ability.

Together, let's aim to become Globally Competitive 18-Year Olds at Ritsumeikan Keisho, a one-of-a-kind school where everyone respects and recognizes each other's differences, individuality, and diversity.
